1

Contact us

Provide your name, phone, email, vehicle year/make/model, engine application, injector manufacturer or part number if known, quantity, and requested service.

2

Prepare safely

Drain residual fuel according to carrier rules. Wrap each injector separately; protect tips and electrical connectors. Do not ship loose fuel, leaking injectors, or improperly prepared fuel-contaminated components.

3

Pack & ship

Use a sturdy, well-cushioned box. Include your name, phone, and order number. Use tracked shipping and ask your carrier about hazardous-material restrictions. Inbound shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise.

4

Receive & inspect

We confirm the count, inspect visible condition, verify compatibility, document the set, and begin approved work. We contact you before proceeding if a problem requires additional approval.

5

Clean & test

Eligible orders received before the daily cutoff are targeted for same-business-day completion; other eligible orders are targeted for the next business day. Timing begins when the package is physically received during business hours.

Customer service policies

Failed injector policy

An injector may fail because of mechanical damage, electrical failure, severe contamination, internal corrosion, leakage, an irregular spray pattern, or unacceptable flow imbalance. We document available findings and notify you. No replacement, extra repair, or additional cleaning charge is added without authorization. You may request return of the failed injector or approve another eligible cleaning attempt for an agreed fee. If it cannot be safely tested, we explain the limitation.

Completed inspection, testing, and cleaning remain chargeable even when an injector cannot be restored. If an injector is rejected before paid service begins, you are not charged for unperformed work. Replacement injectors are not included in cleaning prices.

Turnaround & delays

Our target is same- or next-business-day processing after receipt for eligible injectors. Delays may result from carrier issues, missing information, incompatibility, severe contamination, equipment malfunction, unavailable parts, unexpected testing complications, high volume, holidays, or closures. We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible with the reason and an updated estimated completion date.

You may request return of unserviced injectors, subject to completed-service charges and return shipping. If a paid rush deadline is missed because of our operations, the rush surcharge is refunded. This does not apply to inbound shipping delays, missing information, or circumstances outside our control.

Shipping & damage

Customers are responsible for safe packaging and inbound shipping. We recommend tracked and insured service. Visible shipping damage is documented on arrival and reported to you. Houston Injector Performance exercises reasonable care while injectors are in our possession; claims involving damage, loss, or service errors are reviewed individually.

Customer authorization

By approving service, you authorize the selected cleaning, inspection, and testing procedures. You acknowledge that cleaning does not guarantee repair; results describe the condition observed under the specified test conditions; some injectors may be unsuitable for service; additional work requires separate approval; and vehicle installation, tuning, and final operating verification remain the customer’s responsibility.

Helpful answers

Frequently asked

Which cleaning service should I choose?

Choose Standard for factory/OEM injectors and stock-style replacements. Choose High-Performance for aftermarket high-flow injectors built for modified, boosted, E85, racing, or other performance applications. If you are unsure, send us the injector manufacturer and part number before ordering.

How long does injector cleaning take?

Most eligible orders are processed the same or next business day after arrival. Specialty injectors, damaged components, and unusually large orders may require additional time. Shipping transit is additional.

Do you accept injectors from outside Georgia?

Yes. Nationwide mail-in service is available for eligible injector types.

Do you clean racing fuel injectors?

Yes, for compatible high-performance gasoline port injectors, including many E85 applications. Compatibility must be confirmed before shipping.

Can you clean completely clogged injectors?

Many clogged injectors can improve through cleaning, but severely contaminated or mechanically damaged injectors may not be recoverable.

Will cleaning increase horsepower?

Cleaning may restore proper fuel delivery when contamination has reduced performance. It does not guarantee increased horsepower.

Do you provide before-and-after results?

Yes. Cleaning packages include flow-testing documentation where initial and final measurements can be safely obtained.

What happens if an injector fails testing?

We document the failure, notify you, and explain available options before performing additional paid work.

Do you replace seals and filters?

Standard seals and filters are replaced where applicable and included in the selected package. Specialty components may cost extra, with your approval.

Can I drop injectors off locally?

Local drop-off may be arranged by appointment. Call or email before arriving.

Do you service direct-injection or diesel injectors?

Gasoline direct-injection service may be available for compatible injectors starting at $40 each, but equipment capability must be confirmed before shipment. Diesel common-rail service is not currently offered.

Is return shipping included?

No. A $25 return-shipping charge is disclosed separately in the estimate and checkout unless a promotion specifically includes it. Customers are responsible for inbound shipping.

Do you guarantee injectors will work like new?

No. Cleaning and testing can identify or improve certain performance issues, but cannot guarantee restoration of worn, defective, or damaged injectors.
